Did you miss me? I've been a bad blogger again haven't I?
We've had a very poorly doggy here over the last month or so and that has taken up a lot of my time (and money) he's on a super bland diet of chicken and rice which I have to cook for him each day and he cannot stomach anything else other than that the poor boy. It all started when he had an operation to remove a lump from his gum and went downhill from there.
We have many more vets trips (and bills) ahead of us I think and just hope that things will get better for him soon.
Because of all that going on my latest online class 'Sugary Sweet' got pushed back a week or 2 and will now be released for purchase on August 1st so if you were holding out for that, please hold out a wee bit longer. x x
We did manage to squeeze in a week away for holidays while the doggies were thoroughly spoiled with love at my in-laws house.
Like all of our Wilde family holidays though we don't 'do' photos like normal people, they always end up a bit like this:
But even though our photos are ridiculous, we had a fab time and the British weather was very kind to us.
And so the start of our summer fun has begun ;)
I hope wherever you are in the world that you are having fun too.
Whilst I am currently busy working away on my 'coming soon' online class 'Sugary Sweet' I won't have much time for painting so I thought I'd better get around to listing these 5 paintings in my etsy shop that I had sitting in my art room.
My new class will be out sometime in July (date yet to be confirmed) so watch this space ;)
My little art dolls were way more popular than I ever thought they would be and it made me very happy indeed but as I had to wrap and pack so many of them, I realized my packaging for these tiny items wasn't quite as pretty as I would like it to be. Don't get me wrong it wasn't ugly wrapping and there wasn't anything wrong with it really but I wanted something better if I was to continue making these dolls on a regular basis.
After I did a little online research I found some fabulous teeny linen bags that I can paint on, so from now on each clay doll purchased will have it's own name on a linen bag in paint colours to match the doll. *yay* They will of course have lots of padding to protect them on their journey to you as well, tissue wrap inside the linen bags and all around the doll as well as foam wrapping too.
Some of the bags differ slightly in colour and size. The ones in the photo's here are the lighter version. I will be photoing each bag with the doll when I list them in my etsy shop so you will know exactly what you are getting if/when you purchase one :)
Huge thanks to everyone that has purchased so far, I truly appreciate your support of my work.
These dolls below are still available in my etsy shop and now all have hand painted gift bags to match :)
