Hello bloggy friends, has a week gone by already? Time sure has gone fast since the last post I made!!
I've been busy, busy trying to get my etsy shop back up to full stock.
Before Christmas there was on average around 50 paintings in there but after all the Christmas sales I only had 19 left in the shop!!!!! Yikes!!
Well this week I managed to paint up a storm and have just listed another 8 paintings in there, so the amount is now up to 35 which is feeling far more like a fuller shop to me.
Of course if anyone comes along to purchase I won't begrudge them at all lol ;o)

ReplyDeleteI am behind in getting my art to you (I blame it on that four letter word called work - ha ha) but I am really happy with how it is coming along. I think you will like it.
:-)
Thanks Denise, I always have a favourite too!!
DeleteDon't worry about the swap, the last posting date is Feb 8th, so you've got a while yet ;o)
These are gorgeous!! As usual, Micki!! And I can see the Misty Mawn class already expressing itself in some of your paintings. You are just so incredibly productive. Very impressive!! Sending a big hug from Savannah!! Silke
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on selling so many paintings, I'm not surprised though, they are so good. Etsy is obviously very good for you.

These are all such beautiful pieces Micki!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you got your art in the mail...I have never mailed anything that far before. There were custom forms to fill out and everything. I felt like I was mailing a secret document to the CIA or something.
Have a great week! I am anxiously watching my mailbox for some more of your beautiful art!
: )
These are all so wonderful. How can you keep coming up with new girlies? I really love the blues in "The Messenger". I am not a "blue" person, but that one really moves me!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cris!! how do I come up with all the girlies? well the world is a sea of faces and every face tells a tale ;o)
DeleteYou're going to need a lot of wall space for all those goodies! ;o) Have you had to explain to the postman or is he being politley quiet about asking what they are? :)
ReplyDeleteYour new work is gorgeous, I really love the titles you give them too. I wonder which comes first, the title or the painting?
Jess x
you are so right, the walls will be briming with goodies for a long time :)
DeleteMy postman is used to me getting lots of parcels, one of the joys of working from home.... he has been amused by all the pretty ones of late though, my local post office know me well too and have asked me lots of questions about the ones i've been sending out lol ;o)
As for my paintings, the painting always comes first, then I find a name to suit them ;o)

Those are simply beautiful. The faces, especially the eyes, are very expressive almost like they could speak.
