Is it really October?

It sure doesn't feel like October here in the UK at the moment, we've had super hot weather all week and I've had to force myself to go towards the painting table instead of the garden ;o)

I didn't get any big paintings done this week they are all A5 size or smaller.

Patterned backgrounds were the main objective this week, I have been loving the look of gorgeous flocked wallpapers for some time now and wanted to create something similar using stamps for my girlies backgrounds, I hope you like them :o)

As always these paintings are available now in my Etsy shop :o)

This little lady is feeling a bit foxy, she's put on her favourite fox hat and now she's ready for anything ;o)

Eloise:

Ready for Autumn with her new green coat this girly is all dressed up and ready to go to her new home ;o)

Freya:

Rosa has a big personality and loves her rich sumptuous colours, she's not the only one ;o)

Rosa:

I was still in the mood for hoods after doing my little red's last week but this time switched to black ;o)

Jane:

Last of all is Ida, she loves the Autumn and is all set in her gorgeous purple coat:

Ida's autumn Walk: SOLD, THANK YOU LISA :o)

That's all for this week, i'm off to enjoy the last of the gorgeous hot weather, check back next week for details of my January mail art swap and some more gorgeous girlies ;o)

  1. Hello Micki!
I just love love your art and the way you put color together! I have just purchased your Ida's Autumn walk for these reasons: I love fall, I love your work, I love the colors, and the name Ida reminds me of my mom who is Ina (who I also love). And also it reminds me of the sweet little poem:

    Poor little Ida
    Sitting on the Fence
    Trying to make a dollar
    Out of 99 cents

I don't know who wrote that, but it always makes me smile.

I am so excited to own one of your works!

Hope it cools off for you soon there in the UK.

    Blessings,
    Lisa
