There are definately not as many paintings this week as last week (I think last weeks amount would be hard to top) but they are all equally as lovely :o)
6 very different types of girls all on flat canvas boards and all available in my Etsy shop now.
This first painting is my favourite of the week, I just love her face and the colour palette, she makes me smile :o)

This one took ages to paint, it has all kinds of textures in it and I have to say I love this colour palette, I can feel Autumn creeping in more and more into my paintings.
The words in this girl's hair say : My spirits were lifted as I began to walk through the fields collecting wildflowers, with the wind flowing through my hair and the sounds of nature all around.

This girl has a funny whimsical look about her, she's also got a ton of interesting textures going on, especially in her face, she was fun to work on.

I love them all! Your style has really evolved over the past several moths and I love it. The colors are all so rich. Even though it is like 100 degrees here, I painted a couple of Halloween paintings--I am so ready for autumn!

ReplyDeleteKyles - I usually paint on canvas boards, I prefer them to canvases, my favourite surface to paint on is wood though, but wood box canvases are soooo expensive :(
I loves me my coffee, too.....can't imagine a morning without it :P
