Well i'm still dreaming of being near the sea, it is quite stuffy here with no fresh air and I would love a good waft of salty sea in my nostrils ;)
I don't know if you've noticed, but I have been doing a lot of my work on canvas boards lately.
My hubby usually makes all my wood box frame canvases for me but he has been busy decorating around the house amongst other things and just hasn't had the time, but you know I really don't mind at all, i'm having lots of fun with these boards and i've got literally hundreds of them so i'm not going to run out anytime soon :)
Here are todays works:
Mergirl:

Oh, I love her hair! These are both so pretty together! I like boards because you can frame them if you want and I love the way art looks matted and framed. I love her little shoulders! Looks like my Rosy.

ReplyDeleteHi Micki,
ReplyDeleteI kept thinking about this post and your mention that you have hundreds of canvas boards. I'm so curious! How did you end up with so many? Just a super good sale at some point? I try to keep at least a dozen or so canvases on hand so I don't feel that each one is "too preacious" to use. :) But hundreds sounds even better.
